Hello

Hi, I’m Vicky, a Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with a commitment to supporting clients to reconnect with themselves and the world around them. I have an integrative approach, using a variety of evidence-based psychological therapies to tailor therapy to your needs. I do not see clients in 'back-to-back' slots, instead preferring to take time to consider each clients unique disclosures and personalised formulation. In my practice, I emphasise compassion, collaboration, and connection. I believe in the therapeutic power of connecting with nature and often encourage my clients to integrate this aspect into their lives.

I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, a Master’s in Social Work Practice, and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked in mental health and substance misuse services across West London and Oxfordshire, including as a Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapist within the NHS, and as a Psychiatric Social Worker with a Local Authority.

My Story

Seasonal Minds Therapy Practice was inspired by the role of nature in healing, and the lessons each season imparts. With society's expectation of success tightly linked to productivity, wealth, and quick results, we have lost our capacity for self-compassion, connection to the self, and rest. Just like the seasons evolve with time; enduring change cannot be hurried. We honour ourselves by recognising our uniqueness and giving space to our individual timeline.

This is a perspective I have come to realise through my personal and professional life. After taking a career break and embarking on my own healing journey after grief, I found myself reconnecting with nature in Canada. I realised just how disconnected and burnout I had become as a result of the roles and culture I was accustomed to in the UK. The payment-by-results services, productivity expectations, and furrowed brows when needing to rest, had me in constant bloom.

In clinical practice, my clients would often ponder experiences reflective of the seasons: whether it was a new mother learning to let go of others expectations, a young person hoping to grow confidence at work, or a man looking to build resilience in sobriety. Each echoed transitions through the seasons.

This practice aims to help you slow down, reflect on the season, and support you towards a more fulfilled life.
